What caught my attention was the layering of all the various levels of content seen in this single shot, the art student walking through (not even noticing me)- a metaphor about society, the empty bench wrapping around the downed and twisted aircraft sculpture- could be a metaphor for current events that we opt not to see. All the while with the beautifully intricate architectural designs depicting various periods of history. In summary, the juxtaposition of the chaos within the orderly worl

We were in Bosque Del Apache to witness the sandhill crane migration for couple days. In the first evening, we were waiting for the cranes and the geese to return to the refuge. Unfortunately, not many returned that day as we did not notice any large flocks. However, the sunset was gorgeous. The color of the sunset, combining with the water body and trees created such a surreal landscape that I had to capture the frame.

The magic of the golden hours at the Ocean (New Jersey shore). I am fascinated by the magic of the golden hours and water reflections. When they combine with the sound of the Ocean is pure divine love for Nature. The sound of the Ocean is like a Universal OM for my soul. I can find beauty everywhere when the light is right and I have the best perspective.I became one with it.

I wanted to shoot the lunar eclipse but at the same time incorporate some quintessential Fort Worth icons into the image for context. I knew I would need to use a very long telephoto to get a large moon but in doing so knew that the rest of the image would need to be some distance from me due to the tunnel vision of the telephoto. I used Photopills and The Photographer?s Ephemeris to plan the shot which was taken with Fuji X system mirrorless equipment.

Rekindling a love of black and white photography, I took this photograph whilst on a Brighton Photography Group 'Urban Architecture in Black & White Photography' study event led by Tobias Slater-Hunt. Having spent a winter of dark clouds, rain and dull skies, it was an opportunity to make the most of the year's new beautiful March sunshine.

I couldn?t sleep on Thursday March 13th, so I took out my camera and remembered there was a blood moon scheduled to appear tonight after midnight. I steeped outside, set up my tripod and camera. It was rather chilly so I grabbed a coat and stood on the patio waiting for the show to begin. Slowly the moon started to disappear. I waited patiently and photographed every phase in that 1.5 hours until the entire moon was covered and the amazing colors started to glow. Truly a beautiful capture as th
